Scottish Volleyball are today delighted to announce a new partnership with Zeon Teamwear to provide our national teams with on court bespoke performance sportwear and off court leisure and travel apparel.
This three-year innovative sponsorship deal will help to promote our national teams with an emphasis on increasing exposure of these teams to both our Scottish Volleyball membership and our partner Zeon. This company which despite being new to the volleyball market have a rich history of working with sports in the UK since 1984 and currently supply over 1000 clubs across a wide variety of sports.
This deal, the first of its kind for both parties will see Zeon provide a tailored bespoke range of clothing which is designed to the exact specifications and needs of the modern volleyball player. Using technologically advanced materials and state of the art sublimation printing techniques.
The process of fit and design is well under way with the preparation for our partnership starting over 4 months ago. Our national teams have been instrumental in the design process from the size and shape of the material to the fit and feel. The new kit will embrace our new brand and provide matching kit to both our indoor and beach national teams. In year one the partnership will be around our senior teams with the junior teams across both disciplines following year.
Zeon was founded in 1984 with the aim of manufacturing cutting edge team kits for sports clubs across the UK. For more than 30 years, they have specialised in short runs of custom-made training team kits and training gear. In fact, their Rotherham factory was the first in the UK to do just that. A long history in the industry has given them a wealth of technical expertise in garment development, sourcing, and distribution. They have pioneered the use of lightweight technical fabrics for club shirts and waterproof fabrics for training jackets, all made to order in club colours.
A special Scottish Volleyball TV edition is scheduled for this evening Monday 7th September at 1900hrs on Facebook with Zeon MD Reuben Herbert and some National Team players who have been involved in the design.
