Safe Recruitment & PVG Processing
The Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) membership scheme helps ensure people whose behaviour makes them unsuitable to work with children and protected adults cannot do regulated work with these vulnerable groups.
It is the responsibility of each club to ensure all persons (paid/voluntary) who work with vulnerable groups (children and protected adults) are suitable to do so. Scottish Volleyball requires all people within the club, in a regulated role have a PVG in place.
PVG application process
To keep our players and coaches safe we require all members working with junior players to have a PVG.
Club CWPO’s should contact Scottish Volleyball’s Welfare officer to process applications.
