The Scottish Volleyball Association in partnership with Glasgow Life is delighted to bring International Volleyball back to the city.
The Scotland Men in preparation for the CEV Small Countries Finals in Luxembourg in June will take on the Champions of England Team Northumbria in a 3 match series on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May at Holyrood Sports Centre in Glasgow.
This is going to be a tough test for the Scotland team as they will be facing off against no fewer than 3 of the Great Britain Men’s Squad who competed at the London 2012 Olympics. This is going to be a fantastic showcase for high level speed and power by both teams.
GB players Peter Bakare and Nathan French will pit their performance levels against the up and coming Scotland stars as well as some of the more familiar faces in the squad. This is a great opportunity to see some of Great Britain’s finest athletes portray the sacrifices they have made to become some of the top players of all time.
The match times and entry costs are detailed below:
Saturday 23rd May
10.30am FBS – Team Caledonia vs Team Northumbria – Free Entry
3.00pm FBS – Scotland Select vs Champions of England – £2 Entry (Free for Under 18’s)
Sunday 24th May

We hope you can come along and support the team against top quality opposition but also support the partnership between Glasgow Life and volleyball in the city.
