Salary Range – £25,000 to £29,000
The Scottish Volleyball Association is the national governing body for volleyball in Scotland. In partnership with sportscotland, the national agency for sport; the SVA wishes to appoint a Coaching Manager to deliver against Scottish Volleyball’s Coach Education and Development programme, which sits within the SVA’s new Strategic Plan 2013 – 2017.
The post holder will be the Scottish Volleyball Association’s lead to the sportscotland Coaching Network, and on the implementation of Coaching Scotland 2011-15, the National Strategy for Coaching in Scotland.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and effective coach education and development programme that introduces and supports new coaches, and helps develop existing coaches at all levels. The post holder will also lead the ongoing development and implementation of the UK Coaching Certificate (UKCC).
