NUVOC Volleyball Club is looking for a coach to work with its Division 1 women’s volleyball team. Is this you?
Someone who is;
• knowledgeable about volleyball and skill development
• confident in managing a group of talented and committed athletes
• receptive to feedback from players
We are looking for an enthusiast. Someone who is ambitious, and has a positive outlook on development and competition……..again, is this you?
NUVOC Women won promotion to Division 1 in 2011 and quickly established themselves in the top flight, gaining experience every time we played against the more established DI sides. At the start of June 2012, the team placed second in the Division of Honour at this year’s Scottish Open in Perth – a clear indication of progress and on-going ambition.
The NUVOC Women’s programme is based out of Crags Sports Centre in central Edinburgh. Practice sessions can be up to twice a week starting in September, with National League matches at the weekend. A degree of flexibility with the practice and match programmes, to match the coach’s schedule, will be possible. This can be discussed with interested parties.
The NUVOC Women’s programme is part of the NUVOC Club. Established in 1975, NUVOC Volleyball Club has a range of teams playing competitively in Scotland, including men’s and women’s National Leagues, District League, and juniors. In addition to the coaching position with the Ladies team we are actively recruiting players, and volunteers.
So, are you the person to lead the NUVOC Women through their next phase of development? If so we would ask that you get in touch!
Please email your CV and cover letter to our Team Secretary.
We look forward to hearing from you.
