The outside spikers …….it’s the girls’ turn!
After the success of the CPD Clinic on October 23rd it the turn of the girls to demonstrate their ability and commitment to performance development. The role of the passer-hitter is a most vital part of the game, and this CPD Clinic features the work of the players who fill this role, and you are being invited to attend.
There are two venues for the clinic, one in the North East (Dundee) and one on the Central Belt (Wishaw). The schedule is;
Date | Venue | Presenter | Players | Time |
Sunday 6th November | Coltness HS | Thomas Dowens | Female Players | 10am – 1pm |
Sunday 6th November | Dundee University | Vince Krawczyk | Female Players | 10am – 1pm |
The clinics will look at;
• the techniques and structures required to pass the ball from both the float and the jump serve
• how to link with the setter to attack, after passing the ball
• how to develop hitting tactics
The clinics will be mostly practical with the expectation that the coaches will accompany their nominated players.
The number of players we can accept will be limited , so you are urged to get your nominations in quickly.
Places can be booked by contacting Stephanie at the SVA Office – tel 0131 556 4633 or Email her at info@scottishvolleyball.org
I very much hope you are able to take up this outstanding opportunity.
