Level III SVA Coaches Award
The Scottish Volleyball Association is pleased to announce the scheduling of a level III Coach Education course in April 2011. Improving the understanding of the coaching process and developing the practice of Scottish coaches are two of the key pillars of the work we do in Scottish Volleyball.
The level III course (teachers award – part II) will look at several areas of coaching practice, including;
- the role of the coach in the development process
- developing the ‘coaches eye’ and designing practice drills
- a detailed analysis of the planning process
- spiking and blocking
- the role of the setter
- unit function in side out play
- unit function in transition play
The course details are;
