Following the resignation of John French the Scottish Volleyball Association is looking to appoint an appropriately qualified individual to lead the work with the Senior Women’s National Team programme.
The Scottish Volleyball Association would like to take this opportunity to thank John French for his outstanding work throughout his period with the National Team Programme. John’s contribution to the positive development of the programme has seen him introduce a whole new group of players to the National Team fold, make a series of substantial and positive changes to the practice environment, and create a core group of staff who are dedicated to the National Team cause. The influence of the successful changes John has made to the programme will ensure the next Head Coach will have a very positive platform from which to develop.
The position of Head Coach is a voluntary post; the successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects concerned with the overall development of the players, the squad and the programme, and liaison with the coaching staff of the other National Team Programmes.
Further details, including an application form and candidate specification information, are available on request from the SVA Office by Emailing or by telephoning 0131 556 4633 for hard copies of the documents.
Completed application forms should be returned to the SVA office by Friday 4th February 2011. Thereafter interviews will be held in week beginning Monday 21st February 2011.
Finally, the Coaches Commission and the SVA would like to again congratulate John French and his staff for their successes and thank them for their commitment to the National Team Programme.
