Scottish Volleyball, in partnership with FIVB and sportscotland, is seeking to recruit a High-Performance Beach Coach and Programme Manager to plan, implement and lead the development of our High-Performance Beach athletes and programmes in Scotland, adding expertise, value and focus to our national beach development initiatives and deliver on our performance planning objectives.
This post is initially offered for a 12-month fixed term contract. Subsequent funding for a continuation of the High-Performance Head Coach and Programme Manager position (past the initial 12-month appointment) will be dependent on a review of the role and the positive results against outcomes set within the initial appointment. The successful candidate will share our passion and vision for the development of High-Performance beach volleyball and the appointed person will be required to demonstrate a proven record of successful work with elite beach athletes and programmes. Knowledge required for the role includes finance management, project delivery, IT, and statistical analysis, together with excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills. (Spoken English is essential). Required also is the ability to influence, network and develop elite coaching and coaching contacts successfully within beach volleyball at an international level.
