Scottish Volleyball are delighted to announce that Danny Traylor has been appointed as the new Head Coach of the Senior Women’s Indoor Programme.
Danny has an abundance of experience within women’s volleyball having coached at City of Edinburgh for many years and more recently at Edinburgh University. Danny graduated from Strathclyde University with a Post Graduate Diploma in Primary Education after successfully completing his BA Behavioural Sciences from Missouri Baptist University, where he gained valuable experience coaching in the USA at Collegiate camps and with St Louis High Performance Volleyball Club. Danny is a Scottish Volleyball Level III coach and is an FIVB level I coach.
Danny has also worked as an assistant coach in both the Senior Women and Men’s programmes. His experience as a coach and a player at international level gives him the platform to lead the programme and continue the work to improve the team’s level of performance.

I look forward to seeing the work as head coach he shall deliver and I believe that all players, coaching staff and volunteers will share my own personal joy at this appointment”.
