The transition from indoor to beach season may well be underway but the highlight for the Scotland Men’s Indoor Programme is still to come.
After the women’s squad performed so well in the SCA Championships’ in Luxembourg, the men are still preparing for their event in the Faroe Islands in October. Part of this preparation process involves testing ourselves against a tall and experienced England side.
Perth College will host the full international of Scotland v England on Saturday 1st June – first ball served at 5pm. The teams will be battling it out for the Carol Russell trophy currently held by England after last year’s match held in Newcastle.
The match promises to be an exciting spectacle with the men’s indoor programme not having played a home international in a number of years. The squad will have changed dramatically since the last match on home soil with a young, enthusiastic and committed squad bolstered with one or two more experienced heads.
