This time next week the School Games 2016 will be over for another year.
With a total of 48 Athletes, 14 staff, 4 officials, 3 Technical officials and a whole army of supporting parents, friends and family it is sure to be another special event.
The squads have now completed their preparations which involved a residential camp at the University of St.Andrews before a final session this weekend.
Scotland West Boys Head Coach Tom Rooney, ‘ The annual holding camp in St Andrews has been invaluable and a great experience for all the West boys. With ages ranging from 13 to 17 the intensity and number of sessions gave the boys a real insight into what the upcoming tournament will be like.
All the boys agreed it was a great way to get to know each other and build a real team spirit, working extremely hard during sessions supporting each other throughout.
They and the coaching staff are all now looking forward to the games themselves.’
The excitement is definitely growing. Tickets are available to purchase through this link. However, if you are unable to make it down then you can follow the action via SVA social media.

The games provide a fantastic experience for all 69 Scottish representatives at the games, to develop and then put their experience back into the coming indoor season whether that be as a player in the Junior SVL, a coach, official or volunteer.
Good Luck to all individuals there representing Scottish Volleyball.
