The Scottish Volleyball Association, in partnership with University of St Andrews , is pleased to present a Level I UKCC Coaching Course

The course details

Course venue; University of St Andrews Sports Centre St Leonard’s Rd, St Andrews KY16 9DY

Course dates;     Saturday 9th of April, Saturday 30th of April and Sunday 1st May

Course fees;    The cost of the course will be £125.00 – but sportscotland grants are available and if secured will reduce the fee to £75.00

Course content;    The UKCC Volleyball Award examines the skills of both ‘How 2 ‘coach, and ‘What 2’ coach when introducing and developing the game of volleyball.

The format of the course includes an examination of movement fundamentals, how to develop body posture which leads to ball control, and developing game play and tactics.  It will also examine the role of the Coach in preparing and delivering practical sessions.

The course structure is two days of practical sessions and delivery by the course Tutor, and a third day of review, extension and assessment.
