After long deliberation, the Beach Volleyball National Team 
Coaches have made their team selections for Round 2 of the Continental Cup on 20/21 September 2014 at Portobello Beach, Edinburgh.
Men:
Team 1: Robin Miedzybrodzki & Seain Cook
Team 2: Jamie McHardy & Graham Riddle
Reserve: Barry McGuigan
Women:
Team 1: Anneka Hastings & Shauna Mullin
Team 2: Lynne Beattie & Gillian Lyall
Reserve: Jennifer Thom

Scottish Player Lynne Beattie gave her reaction to being selected for the National Team “I am absolutely delighted to be selected for Round 2 of the Continental Cup, round 2. As a team we have been working hard since Round 1 in Slovenia, and are making good progress as the competition approaches in a few weeks’ time. To be selected to represent Scotland at any event is an honour but to be competing on home soil at the very location that we have been training, is an even more exciting prospect. The battle of the home nations will bring a healthy rivalry to the competition with the ultimate goal of qualifying for the next round and going one step closer to Olympic Qualification.
As a nation we will be making history, hosting our first ever 
international beach volleyball tournament. It will be an amazing spectacle so I urge the Scottish crowds to come on down and support us.”
