The UKSG Staff are delighted to announce the final selection for Sainsbury’s UK School Games, Sheffield 2011.
Following a series of open practice sessions, which have featured players from across Scotland, many congratulations are due to the athletes who have been selected. However, for those who did not make selection, their valuable contribution at the trials must be recognised and the excellent standard displayed by all resulted in extremely difficult decisions for the coaching staff to make their selections. Please continue to be involved in Volleyball and take advantage of every chance to train and play to ensure that you are better and stronger when the next opportunity comes along.
The next stage in the process is the team preparation phase with the first session on Saturday 23 July. Full details available Here.
For any friends or family wishing to travel to Sheffield to support our squads, the event takes place from Thursday 1st September to Sunday 4th September at the English Institute of Sport, Coleridge Road, Sheffield, S9 5DA and I look forward to seeing many of you there.
